Pexus Ingine
AI intern tracking and client management
A business operations platform for intern tracking, dynamic surveys and client management, evolved through change requests I owned.
- Role: Change-request owner
- Organisation: Pexus Tech
- Domain: Business operations · interns and clients
- Scope of involvement: Change requests (owned change requests on an existing system)
Overview
Pexus Ingine is an intern tracking and client management system that supports the management of AI interns and client-related operations in one place.
Product challenge
Intern tracking, flexible information collection and client management have to live in one operations system, and that system has to keep fitting operational needs as they change.
My role
Change-request ownership. I did not own the whole product or build its modules from scratch; I owned change requests on the existing system.
- Owned change requests for the system.
- Worked to understand business requirements and translate them into system enhancements.
- Contributed to evolving existing functionality in response to operational needs.
- Coordinated change-request delivery with the relevant team members.
Key features
The system's functional areas:
- Intern attendance tracking.
- Dynamic survey forms, customisable to collect information for different requirements.
- Client management: maintaining client-related information.
- Client follow-ups: supporting ongoing follow-up and communication tracking.
- Tracking and monitoring of intern and client activities.
Product thinking
- Each change request starts from the operational need behind it, not the requested screen.
- Enhancements have to fit functionality people already use.
- Delivery is coordinated with the relevant team members.
Outcome
Existing functionality evolved through the change requests I owned, keeping the system aligned with changing operational needs.
